Thank you for visiting our website. I am the owner of Australind Travel & Cruise Centre and have been for the past 12 years. I have previously run successful businesses in both hospitality and retail. I am also a qualified Registered Nurse, and with many years of experience working in Palliative Care. Due to this I know that it is important to make the most of what life has to offer. I believe that holidays are some of the most important and memorable times we have and as your travel consultant I am here to help you design the holiday of your dreams.

I have been fortunate to have travelled extensively over the years, travelling to destinations such as New Zealand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mauritius, South Africa, London and the UK, Europe, America, Egypt, Dubai, Vietnam, Singapore, Norway and Sweden and I have also seen a great deal of Australia.

My favourite destinations are: London - I have a special bond with this city as I lived in London and from there I travelled extensively through the UK, Europe and Eastern Europe. I have returned to Europe many times and have experienced the beauty and convenience of travelling on River Cruises through different European countries. Egypt and cruising the Nile and seeing the ancient wonders of Egypt was another unforgettable experience.

My most recent adventures have included cruising the Magical Norwegian coastline with APT and also experiencing the Romantic city of Venice and surrounding islands with Uniworld Boutique River Cruising. Bellisimo!

Before I headed back (via Asia), I stopped in Perth, and never left. After several more trips from Western Australia to places such as Scandinavia, USA, Canada, and an incredible trip to Egypt which remains the highlight, I then decided on a career change and chose to study as a Travel Consultant with AFTA. I had two major positions in the retail travel industry in Perth, before I took a side step and specialised in airfares and ticketing for 12 years.

Relocating to Bunbury several years ago, I returned to retail travel consulting, working with the great team at Australind Travel & Cruise Centre. Airfares are my specialty but I am able to assist you with all of your travel needs.

I have been fortunate to explore some great destinations: UK, Ireland, Channel Islands, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, former Yugoslavia, Turkey, Greece, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Dubai, Egypt, Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Fiji, Raratonga, and extensively throughout New Zealand.

I have also enjoyed many cruising holidays and have been qualified as a cruise specialist. Western Australia has become my home, and I have spent considerable time in all states and Territories except the ACT.

My career in the travel industry started in 2014, and I have been with the Australind Travel & Cruise Centre team since May 2019. My number one priority is always my clients – I like to treat each holiday with the same thought and care as I would my own!

Growing up, my family moved a lot around Australia before settling in Bunbury in the early 2000’s. This instilled a passion for discovering what our beautiful country has to offer. Some of my most memorable experiences to date include swimming with whale sharks in Exmouth, seeing the jumping crocodiles in Kakadu, watching the sun rise over Uluru, and exploring the natural beauty of Fraser Island. Tasmania is the only state I haven’t conquered and I’m keen to get there soon!

My love for travel also extends to other parts of the world. Places ticked off the list so far include Singapore, New Zealand (South Island), Fiji, Dubai, Thailand, Bali and southern China. When my son is older I hope to venture further to the Scandinavia, Vietnam, Canada and USA.

My story in travel started when I was 18 when I travelled overseas to live in Norway and Sweden for a year. I spent many years in the travel industry and during this time I have been fortunate enough to visit many countries such as; Australia, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Hawaii, Fiji, Western Canada and New Zealand. My favourite destinations would have to be Africa and Hawaii, both amazing places and very different.

My adventurous nature has lead me to explore other industries, mostly in the medical field...however, I still work a casual consultant at Australind Travel & Cruise Centre when they are busy. I do have a love of travel, and assisting clients with memorable travel experiences is always rewarding.

My desire to explore and discover the world was realised when I moved to London at 21. I spent the next four years living and working there, soaking up the culture as I backpacked through the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa and America. It was love at first sight when I arrived in Kenya for an eight week holiday through Africa which then evolved into a job as a Tour Leader for several overland companies for the next year. I was extremely lucky to be travelling the African continent for work while sharing the amazing experiences with fellow travellers. On my return to Australia, I worked as a Travel Consultant in Perth and the North West before having a family and settling in Bunbury. For the past few years I have worked as a Travel Consultant at Australind Travel & Cruise Centre. Although I am not consulting at present, you will see me actively involved on Facebook and Instagram as the agencies Social Media Director.

My journey started in 1998 when I was fortunate enough to get my dream job right out of high school as a travel consultant. My passion and desire to assist my clients with their travel arrangements saw me achieve my greatest goal of becoming the highest selling agent in WA, as well as being voted in the top 5 sales consultants nationally for two consecutive years. I was also lucky enough to become one of the highest selling consultants for Qantas Holidays International & Domestic Destinations for three years in a row. I now have three beautiful children and have recently returned to the travel industry after taking a break to raise my family.

I have been lucky enough to travel to some wonderful destinations including UK, Italy, Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, UAE, Reunion Island, Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu. I recently returned from Europe where I travelled by train through Poland. Closer to home I've visited Adelaide, Uluru, Darwin, Gold Coast, Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Daydream Island, Tropical North Queensland, Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney and I have travelled throughout WA.
